DAO & Governance

Pear Protocol has been designed to run in a truly decentralised manner. The intention is that the front end (”The Protocol”) will ultimately be governed by tokenholders, who become contributors to the project and oversee how it is run.

The key entities will remain:

  1. The UK Limited Liability Development Company

  2. Pear Protocol - the decentralised front-end hosted by the community

  3. Pear DAO - that oversees all day to day governance of the protocol and protocol fees.

The Pear DAO will be a Cayman Foundation, more details of which are available on request.
